The Gift Association of America was founded in 1952 and is the oldest and largest trade association of retail stores and non-retail companies in the gift industry. Established primarily to provide a forum for discussion on matters of interest to the gift industry.

The Gift Association of America provides up-to-date industry information in the form of newsletters, trade publication announcements, and direct mail notices to the membership base. The association sponsors industry seminars and serves as a liaison for the members to the various benefits that are endorsed.
